Compreender o funcionamento do sistema terrestre em escala global, e as interações entre seus componentes e processos. Entender como atividades antrópicas interferem/interagem no/com o funcionamento do planeta. Reconhecer métodos e ferramentas disponíveis para a compreensão e previsão de mudanças ambientais em nível planetário. Propor medidas de mitigação e adaptação às mudanças climáticas.
